MegaSack DRAW - 6pm Christmas Eve - LIVE on our YouTube Channel
Got some broken gold chains, bracelets etc. to sell and wondered if anyone had any advice on best places to sell. Bit dubious of websites advertised on TV.
Thanks in advance.
go to hatton garden metals, they give you a great price and no bullshit
there was something on tv i caught a while back, might have been watchdog. Unsurprisingly, a lot of the tv and press advertised companies will give as little as they can get away with.
Make sure you get a couple of different valuations from a proper jewelers before you sell - amazing by how much they can differ.
Seriously though if you don't need the money I would hang on to gold at the moment. Prices are on the increase in a big way in these times of financial uncertainty. Why do you think these companies are so keen to buy your Gold?
apply to one of those online TV advertised places. Once you've recieved the near flourescent coloured envelope marked 'URGENT! CONTAINS GOLD FOR SALE', pop in your loot and deposit in post box for the postie to deliver / pinch
A few months ago I used gold traders
Very happy with the price I got, I did a lot of searching for the best deal first. Received prompt payment, I posted my items late on a Wednesday, received an e-mail off them on a Thursday quoting their offer which agreed with what I was expecting as i'd weighed my items before posting & worked out the value. Phoned them on Friday morning accepting the offer, & the money was transferred to my bank account straight away.
