Anyone know of one?

I'm sure there are lots, but my Googlefoo is playing up today.

I'm looking for something big-ish, I don't care if it's a chalet or an apartment, but it has to sleep 8 comfortably, none of this sofa bed in the living room stuff and bike storage.

Been to Morzine untold times and it's always been easy, book online - but all we're running into at the moment is websites with 2008 prices or 'enquire here' e-mails that don't get a response.

No one?

Has Chamonix closed or something? In desperation I even looked at Alpine Elements, but it seems they don't go there anymore.

Head up the road to Argentiere, which is cheaper and quieter and less full of tourist tat. On our honeymoon Mrs Gti and I turned up with no booking at the tourist office and got this place, which has a lovely upstairs room with views down to Mont Blanc:

Edit: just re-checked and it looks as if the entire building is now rented out as a gite whereas all we got was the love nest upstairs. Your best bet might be an email to Tourist info offices in Cham or Argentiere.

By the way the TDF finishes in nearby Megeve on stage 18, it's a nicer town than Chamonix.
