A huge longshot but anyone else see him in Nottingham last night? The reason we went is because as a rule he's a funny guy, but bejeeeesus that second half last night was painful, just bemusing and not funny. The support guy won by a mile!

No, but I saw him a few months back somewhere else and it was excrutiating. I wondered if it was the crowd / venue - affluent South East old person's town not 'letting go' - but have since seen others at the same venue and they brought the roof down. Not least, the german comedy ambassador.

I haven't seen him live, but I find him fairly amusing on the various comedy panel shows. However, I couldn't really imagine seeing him live: I think anything more than the occasional witticisms you get on tv would be too much as his material seems fairly thin.

It certainly served as a talking point for post gig musings but for all the wrong reasons!

He doesn't strike me as a laugh-a-minute comedian. His radio stuff was very good but not belly laugh stuff. More weird and witty.

I think he is very funny but never seem him live. My brother went to see Jeremy Hardy live said he was dire and they left at half time and he is quite funny on the now show.

Saw him in Glasgow, his "ad libbed" second half of the show was abysmal. I think it was the Lockipedia tour. Wouldn't go see him again.
