My lads Transformers scooter has lasted about as well as scooters from Argos do and is destined for the bin.

so i want to get him a new one for brithday in a few weeks. Want something Robust, good, reliable etc... ideally something i can buy from an LBS type shop or whatever thier equivalent is.

Budget of about £125 but if i need to go more that's cool.

Jd bug all the way. If you go,for the pro the handle bar and stem are all one piece. Wheels are beautiful too.

Son number 3 has an MFG-Pro, he's not broken it yet.

Just asked my 11 year old and his mates. They reckon JD Bug not cool - stick with MGP Pro

LOL it's only his 4th birthday, coolness isn't a major issue.

we got rock jnr a rage tantrum jnr from skates.co.uk.
Its a junior size, scaled down for the up to 7 year olds.
Very pleased with it myself. Super sturdy and soooo smooth compared to the folding ozbozz halfords one it replaced.
Recommended.

sorry, it was £65 and being fitted with a proper headset will satisfy the need to tinker!
