If it's any consolation my boy leaves for school pristine, before he's got in the gates his shirt is hanging out, tie crooked and trousers scuffing along the ground.

I remember a photo of one of my cousins when she was about 14 taken back in the early 80's. She had big, blonde hair and it had rained on the way into school.
