I wonder what will happen first, GPS ceases to exist or blindly following your sat-nav stops being news?

We came across a BMW 3 series along way up what is effectively a farm track the other week. They sailed merrily past the sign indicating the satnav was wrong. It is an old county road and does show on googlemaps, etc as a road, but it isn't and narrows to a couple of feet near the top.
The driver decided to stop when it was touching both sides of the car 🙄
