Any one use one of these to transport bikes around?

Just wondered on ease of use, fit to hatchbacks? do they mark or damage the rear of the car at the attachment points?

Seen loads of positive reviews but wondered has anyone had an issues with these?

I use one, its very secure and very quick and easy to use.

It's a it tight to have 3 bikes on, I usually just transport 2 and not use the middle loops.

The rubber feet do mark the paint work, especially if you don't tighten te straps down properly.

Great rack and the customer service fro saris is second to none.

Thanks, i need a solution that won't mark the paintwork of the car, looks more and more likely i will be fitting a towbar, expensive way to transfer the bikes!

I bought one a few weeks ago as I was fed up of putting roof rack on for a quick ride. I used to have a tow ball mounted rack which was always the best for speed and security but the car i'm in at minute is temporary.

I thought it was a brill invention but after using it once I came to the conclusion that it was worth the ten minutes of using the Thule roof rack as it was 'permanent' and could leave it on the car when I'm riding (you can't with a strap on 😉 ) and the issue of lights comes up as I got tugged off the rozzers on way home for not having light board.

So I took it back and got refund.

As soon as I get new car I'll be back to tow bar mounted, best all round but obviously not cheapest

They mark the paintwork, if you don't 'copter tape where the feet stand...

tbh A towbar rack is the best option.
