I seem to have lost the wi fi connection, tried reconnecting numerous times but no joy.
there does seem to be an issue with this, has anyone had similar issues and how to reconnect

Can other devices connect to the network you are having trouble with?

Can you connect to other networks?
Have you tried turning it off and back on again?
no other devices, like this one, working fine so not the network.
yes off and on to no avail

Are there other wireless networks around you? If so, try changing the channel on your router to something higher up the spectrum (like 9).
Dont know what you mean, netgear router, by changing channel will that upset all the other devices.
When you say spectrum does this mean over used channel- why doesnt this affect laptops, phones etc
