Is anyone using it? It's FAST! And there is some added eye candy. The new Show Top Sites feature is very cool, a nice little splash page for your most visited pages. 🙂
Quick Look in bookmarks & history could be quite useful.
Tabs are annoyingly placed at the top now, but there is a way to put them where they should be.

Stuck it on my MBP, not risking it on my work Mac Pro though quite yet!

Looks promising!

To move the tabs back down, type in Terminal:
defaults write com.apple.Safari DebugSafari4TabBarIsOnTop -bool NO
and relaunch Safari

The refresh button is now in the right of the address bar. Not so bothered about that as i use Cmd-R, but they have got rid of the blue progress bar and replaced it with a spinny thing 😕

Doesn't work with glims, and I don't like the tabs being at the top.

The new webkit engine is very fast tho 😀

Stiil won't work.

I have Glims installed though. Will I have to remove that?

pete you will have to have the latest security update installed, so check that through Software Update.

As for Glims, it probably won't work until the developer updates it. (But shouldn't stop the beta installing). I use Inquisitor which is similar, and it stopped working. Safariblock and clicktoflash still work though.

I had problems with the update. I had to uninstall glims, then it went on OK. I like the tabs at the top.

Thanks MrNutt. I know that I can change it, I just don't think Apple should break their own HIG! 😯

NatWest online banking doesn't let you log in unless you fiddle. My Lloyds TSB account was OK though.

Safari>Preferences>Advanced>Show Develop menu in menu bar [img] [/img]
then Develop>User Agent>Safari 3.2.1

Just incase anyone tries and can't get in!

Not liking the lack of blue progress bar in the address bar 🙁 Nice otherwise though, lovely and quick

The Tabs thing looked evil at first, but it actually saves space, I'm running with it.

Not happy about the lack of blue progress bar though, spinny thing is useless!

Removed from Application Suport but there is no folder called Input managers.

Bloody thing is still showing in Safari preferences and the beta still won't run
