Morning all,

My second pair of TauTronic Bluetooth earbuds have just unhelpfully stopped charging so it's replacement time. While I've previously championed these headphones as being a good budget option, this has happened to two pairs in two years and with this pair the sound quality had suddenly dropped off and was rather flat and dull.
So I'm looking for a decent set of Bluetooth earbuds that won't fall out while I'm running, have a decent sound range, an inline mic and be under £50.

WHYG? 🙂

Don't actually have these yet <Clicky>, so can't recommend from personal experience, but they looked good enough to convince me to back them. You might still be able to get onboard?

I have some Plantronics BB Fit and they're good but not sure they're in your budget. A friend has some Anker ones he got from Amazon and they're cracking value for money - he's pleased with them.

Skulcandy BT 12 hours battery. The gym ones and are water and sweat proof. Use them on the bike in all weathers. Simple easy controls

Been using a pair of BB Fit for about 4 or 5 years. Long time anyway. Haven't skipped a (back) beat despite lots of sweaty gym turbo and running sessions.

If you're OK buying form eBay, you can get new Beats Powerbeats 3 for £50.
Comfy, stay put and long battery life. I don't normally go in for "celebrity" brands but the Beats are much better than my more expensive Jaybirds.

I paid £50 for mine. Can't fault them. They're a bit of a fiddle to fit at first but you soon the the knack. I did initially have a problem with their range, but that turned out to be a shitty phone rather than anything wrong with the headphones.

Anker Soundbuds Slim work fine for me when running. About 20 pounds on Amazon. The Creatives sound better (Aptx), but I destroyed two pairs within 18 months through water ingress. They might claim to be water resistant, but they're not sweaty runner resistant.

Another recommendation for the Plantronics BackBeat - been going strong for 3.5 years, without a glitch - charge well and play for about 8 hours between charges
