England 6 - 12 Scotland

Far from the best game from either team, but Scotland probably deserve more than the 12 they have

****in' typical Scotland. The ray of hope extinguished by incompetence and lack of mettle at the death. It's in the small print of the Declaration of Arbroath.

The try scoring team wins. Seems fair enough to me.

you have to wonder why Ansboro was on the wing and Lamont at centre, Ansboro was looking good at 13 and was rubbish on the wing

Phew....

Poor Scotland, so near but so far again. Better team for large parts of the game but just couldn't finish it off.

Unlucky Scotland. Southern hemisphere teams must be pissing themselves laughing!
Now England get the team that lost to Tonga...
