Ouch!
Ooooh. Interesting.
OMG ๐ฏ
Breathless stuff!
Arrgghhhh
he wont forget that one for a while
No, kick to touch! Fools...
Oh arsebiscuits, missed dg, were they offside or do I need my other eye?
Crikey.
airstrike..
Ah, that's a shame ๐
Sean Lamont"I'm sick of it - I want to win something, I really do. I'm sick of having this year after year, valiant losers or whatever.
"We need to pull our fingers out, there's been too many years gone by where we've been also-rans. It's not good enough." "
Me too. ๐ฅ
Sets up a big meet next weekend!
Good game!
Barnes bottled the clear offside at that drop goal attempt
unlucky scotland
*s****s*
Good game - so tense, but why oh why did they take Jackson off. Parks was piss poor for the time he played.

anagallis_arvensis - MemberBarnes bottled the clear offside at that drop goal attempt
I didn't see one - the pass back to parks was poor - he should not have gone thru with the kick. Its an easy game sitting here tho
Contempomi was miles offside.
can never understand why players take drop goals when they have a pen advantage its such a negative bit of play. Argentina rolled the dice with Contempomi taking the defence on and it payed off.
Fitzpatric agrees with me about the offside......
Don't matter anyway - Scotland lost the game earlier when they did not get points after being camped in the 22
Barnes bottled the clear offside at that drop goal attempt
oh i get it. it's the englishman's fault that scotland lost.
that makes it even sweeter.
*s****s some more*
Parks' kick was closer to the corner flag than the posts.
He was off side but was a piss poor effort from a really poor player

And after replays also agree reference offside. Feel Argentina deserved the win even so...
Cant see the Scots beating the saes so time to go home, at least Edinburgh and Glasgow will get some players back ๐
Markie -...... Feel Argentina deserved the win even so...
Scotland stats are so much higher, metres run, defenders beaten etc that they really should have won - but you have to take your points. Never really looked like getting over the line
Hope duckman is enjoying his trip. ๐

Though (perhaps sounding slightly contrary to my belief that Argentina deserved the win!), Argentina didn't take their points either, and didn't look like troubling the line, bar that superb individual effort. I would have like it if Scotland had pushed for a try instead of taking the drop goal when given the penalty.
Ah gr8. ITV talking about my second team. ๐
Anybody else think these IBM ads are painful?
Fantastic well lets talk about England again then shall we on the telly. T0***RS.
At least it will stop me banging on about bloody Barnes and his missing the offside at the end.
Off outside into the pissing rain to feel better.
This is all slightly worrying. Look at the points now.
Eng 14
Scot 10
Arg 10
Assuming Argentina beat Gerogia and get a BP then they are on 15.
Best case we beat scotland with a BP and scotland do not get a bp, we have 19. Happy days.
Worst case scotland beat us with a bp and we get no bp then we are out ...
Ok unlikely but it will raise scotlands game big time. I hope you lot are licking your lips.
It does set up the Scotland / England clash well.
Not a great deal to chose between the teams bar Ashton and Foden IMO - so for Scotland it will all depend on bossing the breakdown and swarming the midfield to stave Ashton and Foden of the ball
TJ have you bumped your head??? Not much between the teams????? ๐ฏ I am no lover of the english but for the love of god man you have Parks in your team. Go lie down in a dark room and gather yourself.

Or to phrase it another way, Scotland lost the game earlier when their 'awesome' backs were totally unable to construct anything other than short individual breaks.
Both teams played the whole game looking for kickable penalties rather than trying to win the game by scoring points. A really poor advert for the game.
Englands world class standoff is where? Back in 2003?
Even if the Scots do win they need a BP to actually go through. How likely is it that Scotland score 4 tries against England? And in the unlikely event that they remember how to score tries, what are the chances of England still being within 7 points at the end and still going through?
It has made me quite cross that Scotland are so poor and the commentary team (and seemingly all of their supporters) are still talking them up. ๐ Scotland, miracles aside, are out. And believe me, I'd love it to be otherwise.

See? Delusional. 'We can beat England if we can stop them from scoring tries'. Fair enough. How are you going to WIN the game?

Long odds on that ๐

Not quite what I said - how we going to win the game? - by starving the England strike runners of the ball and by bossing the breakdown to force errors / turnovers and penalties.
Am disappointed for the Scotland fans here. This brought back bad memories of 2007 for me.
I am relishing next week's game now though - Scotland can be confident of getting a few more penalties than they'd expect from England, but they will need tries and without trying to take the piss, they're struggling to cross the line.
It really does look like England and Argentina will go through from the this group.
Indeed DD ๐
England would beat Scotland playing with Flood anyway - he's a good positional kicker - can see lots of kicks pinging over the FB's head and keeping Scotland inside their 22.
I am looking forward to it though. Should be a cracker just for what's at stake.
There's a thing. I notice no sponsors on the jerseys. RWC rule?
Englands world class standoff is where? Back in 2003?
You keep saying that TJ, but Wilkinsons record in the Calcutta cup in 2007 was something like 25 points agains scotland? Was 2007 actually in 2003? What are you on about?
And this tackle here in feb 2011 is awesome I don't see this as being a man stuck in the past?
Wilkinson is a great defensive fly half and a great kicker - but has never been able to get the backs running well and now the game has moved on - its as simple as that. You need to get you backs running on to the ball.
England look far more dangerous with Flood - and he is no Dan Carter. For the Scotland / England game I would be delighted if England play Wilko and tindall as the dangerous back 3 will get no decent ball
In twitter news, and this one's especially for TeeJ ๐
@rwcbrianmoore
Contepomi's offside - it's out the moment the scrum half touches the ball with his hand- when viewed in that light it's marginal not obvious
