What on earth is Teo doing there? He's obviously a fav of Eddie but I'm buggered if I know why (ok he did well for the Lions, but that's a while ago now!) Plus, if I were a Worcester fan, I'd be properly pissed off!
Oh, and I've just seen some footage of England's newest star, the Fijian Cokanasiga playing what looked like age group rugby for Ireland against Scotland. Is he the latest mercenary?

Jesus, Te'o and Manu in the centre, Shields at 6 ffs? Robson not starting and no lock on the bench?!

Heading into the RWC with a second choice 9 that will probably have played less than an hour of meaningful test rugby.

May as well have just picked a couple of extra forwards on the wing.....no one is going to be getting the ball out there.

Sure that’s not footage of hike playing for London Irish?

He’s played U20’s for England. As far as I know he’s never played any age grade rugby for anyone other than England having lived here since he was three. He’s not really an import like Hughes.

Whats Slade done to get dropped?

The Ozzie game fixing thing is from a few years ago, and involves three players. Odd forward passes, dodgy missed tackles, etc. The report I read doesn’t say which players or which game.

There’s also an investigation into a referee’s performance in another Wallabies game.

Given a passable impression of being a very competent all-round rugby player - at a guess....

Big win for Barf tonight and no LBP for Sarries.

I’ve not followed what’s happening in Wales at club level too closely but from what I can gather, it’s an absolute mess.

Any recommendations on where to watch the Scotland v Wales match near Piccadilly in Manchester?

Has been since about year 2000.

Just back from being out on the bike and managed to miss the rain - really quite cold and windy (but steady rather than blustery) here in Edinburgh.
Sat now ready for the match and I’m feeling uneasy. In the match against England I thought we had a chance but Eng were favourites to win, I could have lived with a loss. Today I think Wales are (slight) favourites, but Scotland could easily win if they have a good game; not sure how I’ll feel if Scotland win though.

Ps what was the year England came to Murrayfield huge favourites and lost in a game played in awful weather?

Not going too well fo Scotland; lots of injuries and are two tries down. Could be messy with the reshuffled team. Wales look comfortable and composed. It’s looking more and more like they’ll win the grand slam.

Graham had one lovely run for Scotland.

Looked like two forward passes for the first try.

The rate the injuries are going for Scotland, anyone who has ever seen a haggis should be lacing up their boots.

Sadly.

Shame to see Kinghorn broken, he's been exciting so far.

Wales look clinical. Patient.

Is he still alive? He’s been very quiet since Scotland’s 6N has gone a bit wobbly...

Not a very nice way to win really.. shame in some ways but Scotland forced them to try and win however they can.

Wales are really good at the breakdown in defence. General disruption and slowing the ball down - just on the right side of the ref. That with a really organised defence makes it so difficult to score. Much kudos and very good coaching

Very strange second half, what happened to the Welsh first half dominance?

Phew. Scotland so much better without the little errors they’ve made in the last few games.

Why are the assistant refs in blue? There's a defensive.moment at 44mins where I'm sure the line looks right sees a blue shirt but it's the linesman.
First try definite forward even one eyed Davies said so.

Scotland moral victors and Watson should have been the Lions 7..

Talking of which has anyone seen the documentary about captain Sam..worth a watch.

It might have had something to do with being penalised for high tackles that weren’t high, and the fact that Scotland could have thrown the ball 5m forward and the ref would still flutter his hands backwards and shrug.

The composure and discipline Wales show in both defense and attack is quite extraordinary - very rare to see them ruffled.

What an odd decision. 21-7 up, completely dominant and 5m from the Italian line, and they choose to kick a penalty. Maybe those three points will be vital!

J George on the ground out the game yet still allowed to play it. Ref consistent but not good

Of course.
Ref again.
What about their budgets?

Nice to see ITV have got the half time analysis balanced.

Not that there is much to talk about from an Italian perspective.

a_a nope.wales deserved that win. Watson, Hastings Russell and D'Arcy were bright spots but overall we were not good enough. But forward passes should be looked at, ours included.

Will Robson get any meaningful game time today? Bloody hope so.

I was referring to the first half physical superiority which almost completely disappeared, still great defence but no forward motion..

I’m not paying a huge amount of attention to the Italian game but it looks like Cokanasinga is a disastrous defender.

Yeah, it looked on first watch that Russells pass in the try move was forward too.

it looks like Cokanasinga is a disastrous defender.

George Northesque in his ball watching, bit handy going forward though. Te'o's selection still a mystery.
