I spent a week in a hostel last year and a guy that I met was at school with Sinckler.....didn't have anything good to say about him!

Interesting about Webb to Toulon....shame though, I fear in a few years that the weakening of the Welsh teams is going to have a real knock on effect on the national team.

Realistically they're not going to be able to are they!

Saw Falatau on TV for Bath last weekend.....he really is an incredible player isn't he. What got me though.....he's only 26!

He is a machine, Read may be better and other players are better ball carriers but other than Read no one really matches his all round game.

Just a shame he doesn't play for his true national side - England!

It looks really, really worrying for the Welsh teams, I assume that they are paid less than the Irish guys, who seem to keep (most) of the top guys in Ireland. A while ago, it was the English moving to France, now that seems to have stopped, but only due to wages going up significantly in the premiership, the only way for Wales to stop it is to get more money in. That's not going to be easy!

In other news, Leicester have actually won 3 games! I find this astonishing given the performance in the first 2!

^agreed. Tigers looked awful especially in the first few games. Ford seems to be finding a bit of form which helps, he was woeful first few games.

There was an article about synkler recently saying he was hot-headed but has been working with joy marler on ways to cope and keep a lid on it.

Shame the Dregs ran out of steam. Losing bonus point is good for them though.

AA, he always seems to have more time on the ball than others. Makes it all look smooth.

Which I'm sure gives you the #strangest.

TJ, they did indeed win. By one point. Over Zebre. 😉

Watched SA Aus March last night. Does southern hemisphere play to different rules? Lots of side entry to rucks, offside line seems to be front foot not back foot, no need for arms in tackle and just no hooking/straight put-ins at scrum.

I don't know what I enjoy more... watching Gavin Henson with effortless time on the ball... or Jiffy's voice wobbling and squeaking with sheer joy when Henson does something magical out of nowhere 🙂

I didnt think Henson was that great last night. A few errors under pressure but to be fair that Dregs 9 is awful. Like that pen kick near the end it all looked great but just didnt quite fall for him.
I hope Tyler Morgan gets a run out at 13 for Wales soon his pace makes him something really different at Wales. Was it the Dregs second try he set up? Blistering. He's tracking back to hold up Navidi was special too.

Ospreys are going to get humped I fear.

I hope the Ospreys lose, if they win cracks will be papered over. If they lose theres an outside chance the idiots in charge might realise Tandy is not the answer to any sensible question!

What have I missed so far? Just turned it on to see Webb having about 12 goes at getting his elbow in only to be ignored??? Good game so far or tight and niggly?

Nice irony seeing Webb in the background for this penalty telling his team mate to use his head 🙄

Lots of effort from Ospreys but they couldnt score in a brothel. Lacey the best player on the park so far!

I watched the London Irish Vs Leicester game on BT Sport today and couldn't help notice just how empty the stands were. Such a shame as I would love to see Rugby overtake that dreaded game with a round ball!

Reading Samoans have a pretty hard time of it. Rattling around in a stadium that's too big for their limited success so far. There's no real 'heritage' to the club, apart from the original form back in London, and they've had a hard time building up support by being a yoyo club.

In other news, the Southern Kings are really struggling, aren't they?

31-3 down at Benetton today.

That was a bit grim, no atmosphere at the stadium...glad Scarlets won, as they were the only team trying to play

Sounds like they need some flexible fans. You should start going.

I'd hardly call London Irish a yo-yo club....only ever been out of the prem once!

They're not a particularly fashionable club seemingly.....and there's a lot of competition for fans in that neck of the woods.

Not actually as clean cut as the article suggest and certainly from Scottish point of view they were humped by both owner and RFU. They could have been saved, but the RFU bent over for the owners. I hate the not-nots and find myself hoping the dull entity that is Wuss turn it around, another trip to the championship with no ground yet would be just the ticket for the franchise's finances. I was only a year away from the amateur LS when that happened and remember the bollocks spouted by the new management group and the 500 theme bar fans well. Richmond got it even worse than we did and a number of good people lost their jobs. And those poxy strips with the Scottish and Richmond badges?

I'd say that they need to be concerned that they only just beat a really poor Ospreys side with help from extremely poor officiating. I can't see this Scarlets side getting far unless they improve. (Despite what Jiffy and the Scarlets love-in on Scrum V say.)

Watch that from the start and you'll see Patchell kick the ball away to prevent a tap penalty so Webb pushes him, then Davies barges in with an elbow to Webb's face. Webb starts handbagging then. None of the replays showed that though - I wonder why?

Replays do show it, but yes the focus was on Webb with the extra slomo. Not sure Davies came in with an elbow, more a grab on the front of the collar but I'd literally only just switched by that point so who knows.

Scarlets were really poor but still scored 3 tries which is some very minor consolation

It was all a bit of a mess at that time, but something had to give. When you look at the premiership now, it has worked out reasonably well, every one of the old heartlands of rugby has representation except Yorkshire. Both London Scottish and Richmond are competitive in the Championship whilst retaining the ethos of amateur clubs. It is always a pleasure to go to the Athletic Ground, it retains the feel of a rugby club from my playing days and they both teach hundreds of kids the game. In many ways I think it did both clubs a favour in the long term.

Well, watching it from the start is pretty clear cut - Davies catches Webb in the face, whether intentionally or not. I haven't heard a mention of Davies getting a yellow, only Webb, who did the same thing to Davies in return. And played at real time neither is worthy of a yellow. But the coverage (and Turks' one-eyed angst) is all about Webb.
