Moriarty was poached by Hartpury College and then England tried to grab him.
Saints' director of rugby Jim Mallinder said:“The decision to cite Dylan from Saturday’s game against Clermont was unjustified. This was a run-of-the-mill rugby incident during a high intensity game of European rugby.
"Anyone who watched the game could see that this was completely accidental – a misjudgement at a clear–out, plain and simple. When we should be preparing for a crucial league game against Wasps this Saturday, we have instead been distracted by what we believe was an unwarranted judicial hearing.
"Citings like this do beg the question of whether Dylan is being singled out for what has happened in the past rather than being judged solely on Saturday’s game.”
Yes he us Jim because he is a dirty cheap shotting bastard of a player
No place for Teh Hask in the AIs.
I didn't think Hartley did much; Hughes is a lucky boy, that was a potential jawbreaker.

Hartley absolutely knew what he was doing. Yes it is not uncommon but like Marler he has a habit for being a bit too blatant. Is he over a year of suspension time yet or is he still aiming to crack that feat?
I suspect England fans will look at that squad and start getting in the excuses about injuries and the state of the modern game, whereas fans from every other country is thinking, damn I wish we had half that depth of talent
England missing a few bosh players, but in all honesty, there’s no reason to think the players selected army up to the job, and certainly we shouldn’t be whining that Vunipola is missing so we’re short at 8 for example!
England squad - only 2 scrum halves. Gazillions of superb locks and great depth in most other positions but the weakness is 9. Youngs is magnificent on his day but erratic for the next 6+ matches. Meanwhile Care would be good if box kicking were abandoned and the opposition didn't try anything unexpected (like a [s]Spanish[/s] Italian Inquisition). Unfortunately I can't think of any better English qualified alternatives. I wonder who will cover for an injury and why they are not in the squad for preparation.
No complaints/excuses from me as an English fan. Not surprised that Haskell isn't picked, he's got no form at all currently. Strong squad and our only really tough game is against Australia. At the risk of sounding like an 'arrogant English' type, anything other the winning all 3 AI's will be a poor return really.
Anyone else think that Don Armand is pretty hard done by not to get picked?!
Unfortunately I can't think of any better English qualified alternative
Robson, chudley, Simpson, Heinz.
Frankly with Webb off I'd be more worried about the welsh SH options.
I like this team. For too long England have been scared of blooding youngsters. I like Eddie.
Frankly with Webb off I'd be more worried about the welsh SH options.
9 is relatively OK loads of decent 9's at Scarlets, Webb going should see a few move around. Aled Davies to Ospreys I expect.
G Davies
A Davies
L Williams
To name 3.
More concern would be that at best I reckon about 3 forwards from the Welsh squad would make that Emglish one.
I love watching an in form Simpson. Has he recovered to the form he had pre-injury? It was starting to look like his time for bigger and better things was coming before being injured
In other news what do we reckon to the Parra head knock? Referee says he was unconscious, team let him back on the field and a review finds the medical team acted correctly since he passed the HIA and review finds he never lost consciousness. All a bit odd
Ref got loads of other things wrong, why not that.
Green machine squad for SA, Fiji and Argentina.

Not too bad, although disappointed we won't see Ringrose (shoulder injury). Zebo left out only days after announcing he's leaving Munster at the end of the season - you'd have to include him, but if he's chosen to leave the system, then he's unavailable. No Bowe or Trimble either - and plenty of players with only the odd cap here or there, so seems there's an eye on the future. Delighted to see Sweetnam & Keatley get a shout. Thought maybe the Kearneys might not make it. Sure, Rob might be a good shout in a pressure situation but Dave? 😕 And of course Bundee Aki will prove a controversial selection. 🙂 VanderFlier and Scannell both injured. 😐
Can't wait for the SA game - felt they left that series out there.
More concern would be that at best I reckon about 3 forwards from the Welsh squad would make that Emglish one.
I can't think of any except not Toby and that's because Billy's injured. Warbs an outside chance but I'd sooner have the youth and potential of curry and underhill.
Warburton is not in the wales squad. Broken, again. He'd hobble into the England squad on one leg if at his best though. More of a 6 though these days.
AWJ
Faletau
Owens
I reckon those three would make the squad on a good day. Owens is better than Hartley, AWJ a force of nature and Faletau is one of the best players in Europe. I accept your point re youth though which is why Charteris isnt in the squad for Wales.
Suprised Tadgh Byrne (spelling) didnt make the Ireland squad seeing as he has announced he's going back
Suprised Tadgh Byrne (spelling) didnt make the Ireland squad seeing as he has announced he's going back
(Beirne I think, but that's a Gaelic spelling...usually with an O in front of it...different family root; Connaught as opposed to Leinster to Byrne )
Yeah, read some discussion on that around social media. I think the logic is that players could sign x year deals and then say they're coming back and play for Ireland in year x-1. As it is, he's a Scarlets player and not inside the system, so therefore unavailable for selection. Zebo could technically be involved in the AI, but as his future is now elsewhere, I can see why he's not been selected for this series.
As fine a player as AWJ is, I think he'd struggle to push into the England squad given our strength there....and the fact that all of our locks are younger than him (I know that's not necessarily the point)
....and I personally would rather Hartley than Owens.
Toby would get into any match day 23 in the world wouldn't he? Think only NZ would he struggle to get into the starting XV.... if he wasn't at 8 he'd be a 6 for pretty much any other team!!
As fine a player as AWJ is, I think he'd struggle to push into the England squad given our strength there..
Maybe but if, god forgive me, he was English it would be the youngsters trying to push him out.
Hartley is a liability, I doubt Gatland and Edwards would pick him, they are very hot on discipline. In fact Gatland didnt for the Lions. Did for the previous tour didnt but then Hartley got banned.
When I was coming through playing alongside Gav or watching him train you'd just think he was the best at everything," said Biggar."I've never actually played against Gav, so if selected and if Gav's playing it will be really good to test your wits against a world class player."
Biggar shitting it about coming up against the man god
There's very few players as naturally gifted as him out there so he's going to be a massive threat. He sort of just glides around the field and puts his team in the right area," he said.
I'm probably the opposite in terms of always looking rushed on the ball and flapping around and everything
😆
Hartley isn't and never has been a liability at international level....I'll not be defending his club record mind 😯
Edit, a quick Google shows he was banned for biting Ferris in the 6n's that time (I'd got it in my mind he'd been cleared of that)
I'm not a big Owens fan, mind you I'm not a big Hartley fan either. Good job George is better than both.
He'd hobble into the England squad on one leg if at his best though. More of a 6 though these days.
Although he looks more spritely in attack, hes not the brick wall Robshaw is though. He wouldnt get into the English system.
He wouldnt get into the English system.
That right the two time Lions captain isnt fit to lace Robshaws boots 😆 😆 😆
Have you even seen him play, defence is certainly his best attribute. I dont mind Wrecker talking him down, at least his posts make sense!!
Everyone knows that my biggest man crush is Robshaw.....but even I concede that his main similarity to a brick wall is the speed at which they both move!
I didn't talk him down, I just gave an opinion.
at least his posts make sense!!
Same shit, different year. Grow up sweet heart.
I’ve seen warbs in defence against France. Didn’t go very well that day!
but even I concede that his main similarity to a brick wall is the speed at which they both move!
To have this debate sensibly, I didnt deny that Warbs was faster, just that I believe Robshaw is a better defender and harder worker in that respect. He is indeed the proverbial brick wall and thats why he is where he is for England. What theyve alway needed is a proper 7 the other side.
The English system is different to the Welsh, otherwise - agreed he may not be there, especially if we dont have the go forward of Vunipola or Hughes.
I didn't talk him down, I just gave an opinion.
Yeah but at least yours are based on having actually watched him. I have never seen much "spritely attack" from Warburton. I think Kryton is confused between Warburton and Tipuric.
Same shit, different year. Grow up sweet heart.
You keep posting rubbish I'll keep calling you out on it. If you dont like it try either watching a player or stop posting rubbish.
love watching an in form Simpson. Has he recovered to the form he had pre-injury?
No. He's been utter shite this season; slow service, poor box kicking and no thought about what's he's doing. He was bloody terrible when they lost to Quinn's a few weeks ago.
Warburton would make the English team. Rob Shaw has been good under Jones. Wouldn't swap any of our locks for AWJ I'm afraid.
As has been said, Hartley in an England shirt isn't bad, in fact he's very good from a discipline point of view. Club level is a different matter. The main issue is he's not actually the best hooker in the AP.

Apart from when he bit that bloke and got banned!!!
You keep posting rubbish I'll keep calling you out on it. If you dont like it try either watching a player or stop posting rubbish.
You know, i posted a lot more last night then redacted it, but now im not going to hold back. Year on year you choose to follow me through the rugby threads with insults and belittling comments. I called you out on it last year and you came within an inch of a ban, yet here you are again. Same comments towards the same person. Thats internet bullying btw.
Despite what you and your ego believe you arent gods gift to rugby. You seem to go about the place believe everyone elses opinion is second class to your own arrogant view of the world, and only you can be “right”. You can have a half reasoned argumemt at times AA, then your only defense is to defer to insults which in fact belies your true level of intelligence.
I challenge you to come up with an intelligent response to this post without and insult - direct or veiled - thrown in. I know Ill win because your not intelligent enough to do so.
So thats twice youve insulted me and me alone on one page. Ill consider what you post next with a view to writing a long complaint to stw regarding your three years of consitent mal behaviour toward me personally, in these threads.
Heres your chance AA, back down, apologise for the insults and we’ll all continue to debate our opinions, or risk a hand slapping. I’m happy to give you a final chance and move on, are you able to let me express my opinions and do the same?
I think that robshaw is a better 6 than warbs and as A_a said, warbs isn't really a 7 nowadays. A few years ago he'd have waltzed into the team at 7 but with eddies focus on bringing youth through (correctly imho) I would far rather see them playing. England shouldn't be afraid to lose a couple of games in order to improve the team. They have played it too safe (with the notable exception of mr burgess) and its high time that they got the young talent going early.
With regards to Armand, the chiefs have had it tough for a while. Ewers deserved a cap a couple of seasons ago as did Phillips before he got hurt (and fat). Hill, short, wood burn all playing well. Nice to see Simmons included though.
Kryton, when you stop posting rubbish I'll stop calling you out on it, its simple. If you think thats bullying you need to grow up a bit. Where have I insulted you other than saying you post rubbish about rugby players, to the extent I dont think you've actually seen some of them play or you think you have but you were watching someone else.
Feel free to report my bullying the mods can judge for themselves if its real. Looking back at the last exchange I feel confident that I'm not the one throwing insults. I simply laughed at your opinion.
Heres your chance AA, back down, apologise for the insults
Which insults?
Meanwhile
I know Ill win because your not intelligent enough to do so
Mods. Feel free to ban me now for your own sake!!
Ill consider what you post next with a view to writing a long complaint to stw regarding your three years of consitent mal behaviour toward me personally, in these threads.
AA - you do come over very stroppy at times
AA - you do come over very stroppy at times
I know 😀
That doesnt mean I insult Kryton or bully him though. For example I dont treat him any different to you when you tell me Watson is the best 7 in the british isles!!!
Heres your chance AA, back down, apologise for the insults and we’ll all continue to debate our opinions, or risk a hand slapping. I’m happy to give you a final chance and move on, are you able to let me express my opinions and do the same?
You two are cheeks of the same arse. 😀
Wow, so many little stealth edits to posts on here today!
I cant keep up. Still waiting for you to show me these insults Kryton.
Me?
Stealth edit!!!!
I'd rather talk rugby than engage in a slanging match AA. If you can't see that the way you respond to some individuals is different to others as you've pointed out to TJ, that you advocate a continuation of that behaviour as you've communicated to me above, and that it's repetitive as we can all see year on year, then you quite obviously have some kind of personality issue aside from the norm that perhaps you should work on to improve your people engagement skills.
As for targeting individuals, why didn't you target Wrecker with the same response as I recieved when he agrees with me re Robshaw? That proves its personal.
And if you can't do that just accept others have a different opinions to you and that you aren't always right before you hammer away at the keyboard, and perhaps we can all enjoy a continuation of the thread.
