great to see Christian Lealiifano making a comeback for the Brumbies in a recent friendly.

Less than a year after being diagnosed with leukaemia and seven months after having had a bone marrow transplant he came on as sub against the Asia-Pacific Dragons and kicked 6 conversions.

Nice one namastebuzz. Great to hear.

So er, what has happened to Jonathan Joseph? Have I missed something, he appears not to be in any Lions team right now...o er, what has happened to Jonathan Joseph? Have I missed something, he appears not to be in any Lions team right now...

He seems to have fallen foul of Gatland's law: let's pick a slightly over the hill or not quite fit Welshmen over a better, younger player in good form.

Explains Jones, Davies, Halfpenny and Warburton....

As good as he is, he has hardly stood out on the tour so far

I'd rather have seen a safe pair of hands in 1/2p for the first test. Liam is weak under the high ball and gives too many penalties.

Looking forward to the first test but reality is kicking in. Hope they can limit it to 15 points deficit.

ā€œI’m not sure looking at their bench that it is as strong as it has been in the past,ā€ Gatland said,

Well that should add a bit of heat to the last 20 mins.

You all need to get with the Facebook view. Apparently the fact that it's raining means the Lions will win... šŸ˜† as a Scotsman; I pity the amount of rain they get.

Fiji v Scotland getting a bit loose. Some of the Fijian lads look huge. Too many missed tackles and immediate points back on the board. Not over yet though!

Entertaining, that. Felt we got run over way too many times, and were very poor on the restart. Good on Fiji though.

Liam is weak under the high ball

I'm not sure I agree that he's weak here but I dont forsee many high balls from the all blacks anyway, plenty of cross kiks though

4th best team in the world

That's cruel, they may have won if all their best players weren't on tour with the Lions šŸ˜‰

We're good at dealing with false dawns. We've seen a few.

Yeah but most Scots are slightly less hyperbolic than TJ.

Cane is killing us at the breakdown. Need more from SOB and POM. JD2 looks awful in defence too!

ABs cheating best as ever. Lions forwards look confused if they get the ball - still not sure what Kruis is for.

Even my feet are sweating... AA has it though, there's a clear gap in skills and speed of thought.

I'm assuming that my girlfriend is now awake after my try celebration 😯

I'd like to see Itoje on.

Every time the AB have the ball my HR goes up 15bpm

We are clearly second best but doing a bloody good job at hanging in here.

What fun.....

At least Pyper is not the ref next week....
Is Stevue Wonder the video ref? How did he miss them working on Murrays hand?

Good but not that good. This game is very much for the taking. Lots of parity around the field

How quick did that 40 mins flash by?! Who'd a thunk it'd be this nerve wracking! Great stuff.
I think we're lucky they started with Smith at 9, if we can still hold with TJ on it'll be brilliant.
