Haskel is a decent player but prone to some serious brainfarts at times. Think England would be stronger him than Croft

Well the Heinekin cup is below us after 3 grand slams in 8 years. That and world cups of course which are just international pissabouts compared to the six nations.

In othernews it appears london welsh may play in oxford if they get promoted so the aviva would have two teams of Not Nots I'd have to stick to calling Irish Reading Samoa.

So why are the regions so poor in Europe and conversely why doesn't the Irish team do better in the 6N and WC on the back of the provinces success in Europe. Is it as simple as the standard of the coaching?

The coaches at the regions are shit but the irish teams have more money and spend it well on imported players. Also i think the wales team dominate and the players peak for internationals and hardly play for their regions. That and wales just have a 22 that is better whislt ireland have more quality but maybe less top auality.

I know you get pissed off when people refer to you being a teacher all the time, but yeah, stick to the day job.

What about High Wycombe Pests? Or do you just get precious about any team with Irish in the name?
