In yesterdays match France vs Ireland what was with that odd panning camera shot when whoever was about to take a kick.
It sort of looked like I had a 3D TV - all very odd & I wonder how they did it ?

I saw it too, It will have been done with the skycam;

you often see them these days on the pitch side pictures when they are setting up a kick. Normally though they are stationary when they are feeding back video. I quite liked the effect during teh game yesterday.
