I had a metal plate put in to hold my broken cheekbone whilst it healed, this was about 15yrs ago....

Funny how you forget about things like that..i was just sat here rubbing my brow and could feel the screw heads 🙂

i kinda thought it would've calcified over by now..

I keep trying to find the screw heads from these but I can't feel them. Probably a good thing really 😉

If I flex my wrist I can see the points of the screws pushing against the skin (bleedin' NHS, the screws go right the way through the bone and out the other side - B&Q obviously didn't have the proper ones in stock).

You'd think if they were bolting metal onto your arms they could do some upgrades while they were there.
