RRP, reccomended retail price? but what about the others and what is the difference? And why dont all shops just use one??

Different ways of saying the same thing.
All the same thing, give the shops a guide as to what to sell it for.
It cant be mandatory as that would be price fixing (and therefore ilegal)
Without it you'd just have a race to the bottom with places like CRC selling at trade price + a tiny fraction. With it you get a happy medium between price fixing and allowing shops to make enough money to stay in business.
So is there no legalality attached to any of them? such as cant be above the RRP or somthing?

No legality, other than you cannot say that an item has to sell for a set amount.
Unless you are Apple.
And retailers can charge more than the RRP if they like - no law against that.
apple gets arround it by having apple stores selling at a set price, just like next/primark/halfords sell at a price because its their own branded stuff.

Yeah, that seems to be a way of getting around the rules. It does strike me as odd that no-one can sell a new iPod for anything less than the RRP.
