On Tuesday morning I ordered some new running shoes from a shop in the UK (they were the only place I could find that had them in my size) for delivery to me here in Germany.
On the way home from work that day I went to the post office and posted a tent I have sold on here for delivery to the UK.
Result, I received an email this afternoon saying the tent had arrived, and according to the on-line tracking, my running shoes have now landed in Australia! 😕
Royal Mail move boiler spare parts for 10,000 engineers every night for us, and are all neatly stacked in each engineers box every morning. They do a fantastic job.
It beggars belief that I can scrawl on an envelope, stick a stamp on it and shove it in a box, and the next day it's posted through someone's door, miles away.
I think they're fab!
