BBC1 now. It's enchanting.
It's not bad, but its only 1 step from Pam Ayres!
To be fair it's not aimed at middle aged STW denizens. Fab stuff

I'll have to catch it on iPlayer.
Yeah three little uns here enjoyed it.

Who are you calling a middle aged denizen? 😥
It's on again tomorrow morning on the beeb quietest my three year old has been all day
My wee one was enchanted for the whole time, kept her Grandparents happy to. Gave me a bit of piece from having to run after her on her new balance bike.
Was it a patch on the book tho...
Obviously padded out to fill the half hour, but it was still great
Quote of the day from MIL watching The Gruffalo this morning "Oh, so it's actually the mouse being clever then....."
She has not lived it down all day!
If the cap fits Geoff. I was being kind to us older blokes.

It's more meta than that - it's a fable the mother squirrel tells to her pups to illustrate the benefits of being clever. 😀
Absolutely loved it. Read the book recently with my god daughter & its just as good. Recorded it too.
9:45 bbc2 Wednesday morning
The management wants them to do "a squash and a squeeze" in welsh accents next
eurgh, animals on the dining table. How vile.
Wasn't all padding to make it fill half an hour either - did anybody else spot what the cat found in the haystack? 🙂 (I presume there was other subtle stuff like that, but I didn't actually see much of it as we were busy sorting dinner).
Lets hope they do Stick Man next year, my kids love it.

Agreed - any animal on the table should be cooked first.
The haystack aside was brilliant. (Very similar to Gromit doing his stuff casually)
