I had planned to do a VTT race on Sunday, but the weather was awful. I chickened out.

So to use the energy I set up a bogus band in a bogus venue for a live bogus recording of Neil Young's "Rockin in the Free World". It was great fun, I drank far too much. Here's the result - please have a listen.

What did you lot get up to?

This is more than a long shot but I was in Normandy a couple of weeks ago and the band at the evening entertainment was a really good bluesy type but I didn't get a name. Three younger guys and an older guy on lead, the only clue is that the harmonica player was called "Monsieur Blow Blow", I couldn't catch the other names.

Are they known at all? Nowhere near Limoges I know but hey the music world could be as small as the VTT one.

Orange Crush,
I've never heard of Monsieur Blow Blow.

You could try a search on reverbnation.com or myspace for bands by location.

I did a quick search on google.fr - turned up some filth! 😉
