Couldn't believe how quiet the roads were yesterday heading out to and then in around Birmingham. Gotta make a bit of a short trek over to the m42 to get to conkers later so hope i haven't cursed us!!!
Not so around here. I had traffic standing still around my lanes absolutely packed.
Heaving here too but has been all weekend.
Astoundingly quiet yesterday, was amazed.
Saying that, it was absolutely rammed going into Matlock bath on Friday, but that's pretty much the norm. Had a quiet chuckle as the four of us scooted past with our bikes and back towards the canal 😛
A39 through Cornwall was deserted at 6am.
Brief encounter with the m6 and 42 and all was good! Just gotta cope with the towniez heading for a picnic now 😀
Roads from London to Norfolk very quiet on Thurday night, tourist towns up there not that busy.
I think a lot of people are skint and the price of fuel isn't helping.
Or perhaps people were just scared off by the hype on the telly about bank holiday gridlock.
Who knows!
