https://www.ffmpeg.org/ will probably do it, not looked at it in years though, think I last used/ripped a DVD in about 2006 or something ๐Ÿ˜† , so don't ask me how.

I think you can do this easily with vlc. Assuming you gave a PC with a DVD drive? It's something I had to do a while back and seemed to remember it being quite easy. It was a few years back though.

Maybe not the simplest way, but...

http://www.wikihow.com/Rip-DVD-Audio-to-MP3-Using-VLC-Media-Player

That's using Handbrake to rip the DVD first apparently. Though odd as I thought you need MakeMVC to do the rip first and Handbrake was use for converting to other formats. Or maybe MakeMVC is/was required for copy protected discs.

There's also this but I have no idea what it's like and if it's safe from malware etc. Pay software so trial version...

Magic DVD Ripper.

I think you get 14 days of free use before having to buy a licence.

Do what I used to do as a child,

Play through your speakers and record on your cassette recorder making sure Mum or Dad kept quite.

Or [depending on how much of the audio track you actually want] you could do the modern equivalent of this and just play the DVD on your PC and use something like 'Audacity' to 'record what you here'.
