I have unearthed a PS2 that my missus bought some time ago for no apparent reason, it's now plugged in to the telly in the spare room currently I we every 'sing star' game in the series and GT3...
PS2 games are dirt cheap and plentiful on fleabay so give me your recommendations please...
SSX Tricky?
I can hardly remember what I had now. I'll have a look next time I'm passing the cupboard.
If you like a shooter, I always thought the original killzone was cracking, and Black was good too. Not online, but good story modes.
Second for SSX, also the GTA series was awesome, remember sinking months of my life into that.
Oh yes of course, GTA Vice City.
There's the Final Fantasy games too of course.
Transformers (though there may be crap Transformers games too), Burnout 1 and 2 and Ico spring to mind.
SSX Tricky, Metal Gear Solid 2 (I think), GTA ( The one set in Miami). Black (my favourite shooter)
Any of the dancing games + mat 😀 I defy anyone to be able to do 'Video Killed The Radio Star' on level 3- you need at least four feet (or to be sober, I suppose...)
Resident Evil 4. Superb game.
Devil May Cry is also good.

Loved Medal of Honour on my PS2. Pretty much the only game i played to completeion
Snap!found mine (again) in a box under the bed two nights back. I keep it only for two
8) INDISPENSABLE 8) games - and they are:
1. Downhill Domination by Incognito
2. Worms (original) by Team 17
Also enjoy Ridge Racer Type 4 but mostly for the soundtrack.

Absolutely stunning game, possibly better than FF7.
^oomoygaaaawd! +10000 for Shadow Of The Colossus. Sold my copy for squillions of squids but it's been upscaled for PS3 since so all is well 🙂

'Ico' would be my 1st recommendation.
That and 'Project Eden'.
Baldurs Gate is great, especially 2 player.

Rez is amazing, still have my copy and will buy a ps2 to play it again. Timesplitters 1&2 were great first person shooters.

The ULTIMATE student flat game - I'm struggling to think of any multiplayer game that has raised the roof the way mashed did. I've not had a PS2 for years but still keep a copy stashed away, just in case...
Timesplitters 2. I still have my PS2 in the loft and occasionally bring it down for some multiplayer gaming with a mate. if you like running around as a robot with a fishbowl for a head, shooting snowmen riding on flying carpets... then this game is for you.
Half-Life, just played it again myself recently.

SSX Tricky - both the racing and trick aspects
Time Splitters - crazy good fun with four players
Also I can recommend Half Life, great story line
Okami... it's just ace...
Final Fantasy 7 is still the best game ever made. Though it is grindy and these days kind of hideous.

No love for NFS ? I seem to remember playing NFS - Most Wanted from start to finish in one or two marathon sittings and then getting the thumb-jitters or was that caffeine?
Burnout 3 Takedown is fun too if you want to unleqsh some harmless some road rage and slow-mo destruction.
I would say Kula World but that is a PS1 release but still better than pretty much anything since.

If you want to play Worms get yourself a copy of DosBox and Worms+ and play on your PC.
I've got it working on Android 🙂
And my other machines.....I miss them 🙁
But the emulators have saved the day 🙂
