A pal has a smart Apinestars leather m'cycle jkt.
It's dry and stiff.
I said bees wax it 1/2 to death and it'll return to its former self.
Is this correct?
I like your style - offer definitive advice first, check the facts second 🙂
I'm glad you're not my GP (you're not my GP are you?)
Yes I am, and you damn well know it. Don't you?
I still like the old fashion method of working / bulling in a natural wax to bring it back to its former glory.

That advice does sound faintly familiar 😳
If it were my kit, I'd use something like the Daytona conditioning cream and then proof it before next use. It's not proofing it needs right now but conditioning.

I got a really nice Spyke Hood jacket last Christmas as a personal pressy, and I used some Zamberlan Hydrobloc Cream that I keep around for my walking boots. It's good for other smooth leathers, and really seemed to work well, the leather is softening as I wear it, and water seems to bead off it pretty well. It's only around £3.50ish a tube, and a couple of tubes are worth having around. (note to self: order some more).
The Vaseline suggestion looks interesting, but it would have to be very sparing, otherwise the surface would be sticky. Hydrobloc is fairly 'dry' when you apply it.
