Wheelnut key has gone mysteriously missing....suspect child involvement but not enough evidence to prove anything.
Any ideas other than buying a new one direct from Ford?

Ford may be cheaper.
I used one of these to remove my locking wheel nuts when I lost the key:

Then I just bought some cheap aftermarket replacements.
Glovebox, cubbyhole under centre armrest, door pocket, can't remember if S-Max have a pull out tray under the passenger seat or not, check under all the seats, underneath everything in the boot, storage box on top of dash on passenger side, clutching at straws now...
I have extensive experience of wheelnut keys being put everywhere bar the actual allotted place in the boot with the inflation kit or spare, there are hidey-holes all over the place, I honestly can't remember which the S-Max has, but it's remarkable where things can disappear to.
Same as filler flap release buttons, you'd think that would always be somewhere in plain sight, but oh no, why do that when you can put it somewhere you'd neverthink to look!
If you know the code, eBay
