I'm looking to revive an old Bosch drill driver. It's a 14.4V device and there are loads of after-market options available- a bewildering choice to be honest. Are they all much of a muchness or is there a go to that is known and recommended?
Or can I just open it up and solder in some new cells?

I got this in 2016 after reading a bunch of reviews - still working fine. For £26 quid I wouldn't bother building my own.
