Sintered pads are longer lasting, especially in muddy wet conditions. Try either discobrakes or superstar for a good price, or if you are a brand snob, by hope ones for 3 times the price!!

I've found Aztec sintered to be better than Superstar

My winter sintered pads just arrived from Superstar with some unwanted Superstar stickers and some very much wanted Haribo!

Usually put sintered on the front and some kevlar or organics on the back. I prefer the softer feel of the organics when braking traction is limited.

With Hope, personally I'd stick to OEM. They're high quality, and a pretty hard and durable compound. Expensive obviously but very good.

But personally I'll be using superstar kevlars in all my brakes, just like I do in summer- they're ace, and they're cheap, so. But in some very abrasive conditions they'll not last much longer than organics, and they can really squeal when cold if that bothers you.
