I did the Royal Parks Half MArathon last year, my first, and it was a really brilliant experience. Well organised and well supported.
Fills up quick though.

I'll second Royal Parks, interesting route ie Buckingham Palace, Big Ben etc but also flat so great for a pb. Slightly out if town, really enjoyed the St Albans half.

If you want to do the Surrey half on 9th March I know a charity that's looking for runners. they'll pay your entry if you raise enough sponsorship.
