My general upper body/core flexibility and strength is not as good as it once was. Recommend me something strenuous.

I'm sure if you Google books about Star Wars you'll find something suitable.

Going to a class is better but this is good...

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ashtanga-Yoga-Practice-David-Swenson/dp/1891252089/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1298555735&sr=8-14

DVDs to go with it too.

Looks good. I want to get sweaty, out of breath and tired.

And I know classes would be better but timetable does not permit.

Try that DVD I mentioned on the other thread... it's not just yoga but it's pretty good.

You'll quickly want to go to a class though, whatever you choose.

Hmm what DVD is that, also agree with Ashtanga excellent for core strength, you get some strange looks from your mates when you tell them you're doing it though 🙂

I'd say look at Hatha Yoga as well
- I practice yoga every day and don't go to classes for a number of reasons, some time related some not.

you could look here at the White Lotus Asanas / Classes

Yoga classes..

The girls, sometimes I find it really hard to concentrate on my breathing!

The instructors, some of them are nuts, any meditating stuff is ********

This is why I think it could be the new internet dating!
The majority of the girls at the classes that I've been going to are in their 20's, and seemingly very welcoming of new men to the classes!

I got a "Yoga for Cyclists" DVD from Wiggle a couple of years back.
I used it once and it seemed quite good.
Could make a copy and sell you the original if interested 🙂

So, go to work, spend all day away from the girl Gripses, come home, wolf some tea and f off again for an hour and a half. Great.

Lunchtimes consist of eating lunch and coming back to work, so I can go and see my favourite Gripses earlier. Or lately they are concerned with reading my German book too.

I'm happy with the book and DVD suggestions, just explaining why classes are off the menu 🙂

Or google for sites / check for a YouTube Yoga channel and you and the girl Gripses could do a session before tea...

Mrs Grips will do Yoga with me when Lil Grips is in bed, hopefully 🙂

EDIT: oh that sounds rude!

Lil Grips enjoys Waybuloo yoga but for her it mostly involves rolling on the floor with her legs in the air then running off.

perhaps get Mrs Grips to do the Waybuloo Yoga if you want to get 'sweaty, out of breath and tired'? 😯
