We will be in touch
Guys,
I have a Linksys WAG54G2 and have had nothing but problems with it even after upgrading the firmware. I've had enough and want to buy a new one.
I run my pc wired but run the misses MAC wireless (airport) and want to be able to stream to my TV off it.
Can someone offer some advice?
Thanks.
I had a WAG54G once and it went in the bin - terrible heap of junk.
IME...
Billion are almost as bad Linksys
Speedtouch aren't the most advanced feature wise but pretty reliable
Draytek Vigors are more expensive but should be good (eg the 2710n)
My folks have a Netgear DGN2000 which seems good though they've said they sometimes can't connect on the Wifi (which I've not looked at yet)
We had a Negear WRT54G until it got exploded on Friday. Replaced it with a Linksys 802.11n router on special offer at PC World, seems OK so far with the notable exception of being unable to assign static IPs to defined MAC addresses which makes life hard for our Squeezebox.
CXI, your right, I was amazed how rubbish it was.
Do most manufacturers specify if it's airport enabled or is it just given?
Thanks.
Any other suggestions folks?
