I would 2nd the photosmart. Very good quality prints, pics are fantastic. I've got the wireless version which did keep dropping the connection until I found out there was a setting I could change to sort it.
Don't get the cheapest printer you can find. All that gubbins for 25 quid? Seriously? No way - you'll pay them back in ink, heads, whatever.
My D6160 was 150 or something, but I wanted one with 5 colours instead of 3. This makes a big difference. Also HP's front loading printers are ace because you can stick the printer on a shelf and it'll back right up against a wall - you don't need to leave space behind it for a paper feeder.
