I've always used flickr and the cost of the Pro upgrade is minimal enough to make it worthwhile.

I was going to investigate Picasa though

I like Picasa - drag and drop on the PC for uploads. Send a photo from an iPhone. Share and restrict on photos and albums as easy as pie.

Edit and crop the photos you upload. It's free. No ads. I can't think of a reason to change. Someone will set me straight in a minute.

I use flickr for my "proper" photos and photobucket for quick snaps. Photobuckets interface got really clunky though, I just use it out of habit now.

I have been using Flickr for about 7 or 8 years now, always been good and no problems.

I like Flickr but also have Picasa. Picasa is easier to upload to from their software, which is also an excellent photo filing system.

Picasa, either on its own or with the excellent desktop software. I've never really got on with Flickr, jut find it clunky compared to picasa, and I find browsing other people's pics on it frustrating.

Picasa desktop has an upload to Flickr button too so they're easy to use together

Picasa. All eveyone else has said plus it's got unlimited bandwidth and can embed 1600 pixel width images on websites.

I use flickr and like it. If I was starting again I'd maybe use Picasa because of it's integration with G+. I hate photobucket, I occasionally get sent photos from there and it's really awkward to use I find.

For quick linking on forum threads and Ebay ads - Photobucket. It even gives you the links to copy and paste.

For sharing photos with family & friends - Google Picasa.
