I bought myself a N110 last week and I think it is great. I mainly use it for college and work but it is good for browsing on here and CRC while watching telly. I got mine from Currys Digital (?) for £330, but PC world are doing that too.

i got this one yesterday - bargainous, still on XP not 7, but good price. apparently the battery life isn't great, but that's not really an issue so i'm alright with that. very good screen resolution, very nice computer.

Sony W11S1E[/url]

edit- i got it a few days ago for £280, it now appears to have gone up by £75. happy days!

I got a Advent Milano from PC world as I couldnt see any significant benefit from spending half as much again on a Samsung.

Runs MS office fine, does everything my daughter wants ie facebook, webcam and homework and only £220

Asus Eee PC 1000HD - I've had it for 6 months, posting on it now. Great for travelling but not a substitute for a laptop. Easy to use, runs most all software - just don't expect blistering performance and be clever with what you install on it.

see i almost went for one of those samsungs, but 1024 x 600 is shoddy resolution in this day and age - i had a go on my dad's, and hated having to scroll around to see most webpages. other than that i'd have got one.

Seems to pretty much be the standard resolution of netbooks in this day and age.

The Sony screen breaks the mould with higher res (1,366 x 768) but it's the same physical size, so text is a bit smaller on it.

The keyboard, battery life and price also put me off it. (though the price seems to have dropped considerably)

yep, exactly - i like the keyboard. the battery is crap compared to the samsung, though it's true!
