Do you know any trustworthy place that you could recommend? In Devon. I live in Paignton, but as far as I know my wife, she would ask me to drive even 300 miles to get our dog to a good place. 8)
As I said - the dog is old. She is a small "mixture" kind.

Used an amazing place in South Molton next to North Hayne Farm Cottages.
Might be a bit far depending on which way you're travelling

Rather than kennels have you ever looked into a dog holiday place. We used a local (Bristol) company called Barking Mad. A person looks after the dog at their house. A kind of a home from home.
Not sure of the cost comparison though.
