trying to put together a sequence of clips but one camera automatically saves to realplayer.
i need to convert into AVI so i can use it with moviemaker.

i have a free app called handbrake - I used it to convert a DVD to MP4 for viewing on an iPOD touch, but I think it can convert lots of different formats
downloaded to my MAC, but I would assume it comes in a PC flavour too (maybe)?
mmmm... had a look at Handbrake and i can't find it saying 'PC' anywhere. only Mac.
any other pointers?
much of the software have poor reviews. i tried 'Kate's converter' and it didn't work.

computer stuff isn't my strong point.
I use http://www.videora.com/ for practically all my video conversion needs.

Also, Handbrake IS available for PCs to, although I'm not sure if it handles Realplayer files
