...Mrs CJR and I want to take Jnr and the dog away for a weekend in FOD in March and wondering if anyone has any personal recommendations?

Thanks in advance

Chris

p.s. bike is staying at home so accessibility to trails is not a required criteria this time!

Nagshead Cottage in Parkend?
Behind the Woodman pub so on the family cycle trail, not that it matters. No idea what it is like. I know the owners and I think its quite nice. Dogs ok. Not actually used though myself.

Dog wise, what about a Labra-poodle? Non allergenic fur i've been told. Can't help with the cottage though, sorry!

I stayed here with two dogs and the family:

About 20 metres from the start of some nice trails (for dogs and bikes, but perhaps not both at the same time).

They kind of want you to keep the dogs off the sofas though, and kept downstairs.

Garden is enclosed, so should be quite hard for toddlers to get out to the road.

Stayed here really nice and relaxing plenty of places to walk the pooch too! If you keep and eye out they often do deals on the price.

Thanks all. Appreciate the suggestions but either booked up or a little over budget.

Fred - thanks for the suggestion...our terrier is pretty handy though!
