For using when riding, so for Strava, what's app and spotify.doesnt gave to be too fancy as I won't be using it that much

Amazfit Pace, Stratos, Verge or GTR.
Allows music control (haven't got Spotify so can't confirm) but does give notifications for WhatsApp (but not replies). Battery lasts 4/5 days when used as a watch. Does about 20hrs of recording gps tracks.
Available on Amazon, or from Heartbeat, AliExpress, etc if you want to save money and wait a bit.

TicWatch are good and Google Wear compatible
