MegaSack DRAW - 6pm Christmas Eve - LIVE on our YouTube Channel
Our Sony DVD player which forms the centre of our surround sound system has gone on the blink.
However, its just the DVD element of the DVD player, the surround sound speakers work fine so its still possible to view TV programmes using the surround sound.
I'm after a cheapish DVD player to plug into one of the input channels so that we can watch DVDs again. We have a Play Station 2 which can do this but its mega loud fan takes the edge off of the experience.
Any suggestions?
Onn SW2411A from Asda £24 - really!
I really can't fault it
Uplink
How are you linking it into your TV? I don't have an HDMI input on my TV (or any of my kit), SCART only. Some people on that forum were having a few issues with the SCART option.
Good price though.
I'm using the HDMI so haven't tried the SCART, sorry
Well, I bought one of those Asda DVD players for 30 quid and it works brilliantly. Excellent picture quality, surround sound works properly. Well impressed.
