I'm looking for free software to disable the keyboard whilst I'm browsing for those occasions when my daughter walks by and hammers the keyboard (often triggering some unwanted software settings / behaviour).

Key requirement is quick locking/unlocking of keyboard (using mouse/system tray app perhaps).

Any suggestions?

behaviour management would be a better bet would it not?

Just lock the computer..? (CTRL, ALT and Delete - 'Lock this computer')

Windows key and 'L' will lock the keyboard. Otherwise a screensaver with password enabled to disable it that goes on after two minutes.
