Lenovo x100e thinkpad loads of cash off on lenovo website,, choice of processors from rubbish to decent and best of a nice matt screen so you can see stuff

...you might find the x100 a little underpowered - but I can recommend the Lenovo Thinkpad Edge, you should be able to find one in your budget range. Good build quality, battery life and nice keyboards too, but shame about the glossy screen!

x100e yes little powered in basic form, but they do have the of dual core options - though that pushes the price up:

in fact you can get a Edge and an x100e with the same processor specs etc just x100e has a 11" screen and is matt... at the same price point £450 ondd via lenovo website

see:

I went for an x100e though the edge looks nice as well, and offers extra option of an intel dual in addition to the amd - just can't get over all the shiny screens in stuff these day.

either way via lenovo website decent savings
