Without breaking the back (£50-100), can any body reccomend me a portable ipod dock? Ideally it should be rechargable all by itself, ie, when it's plugged into the mains it begins juicing itself up without any bother.

Also a question about iPod Touch: If it's sat on the dock can you connect to BBC iplayer (and similar streaming services) with WiFi and listen to stuff, just like you can through the computer?

This is all going into a birthday pressie bundle for Mrs Seadog, who wants to be able to listen to stuff around the house, both online content and stuff loaded on the ipod.

Whatever you but will be obsolete very shortly as Apple are in the process if chafing the docking connection.

I rarely move with the times, so whatever we get, if it works now will be kept as is, until it dies a lonely death at the back of the garage.. in the pile of stuff kept cos I can'r bear to throw it out.

I've got an Ideck (Monitor Audio) doing nothing. £10 collected?

It needs to be plugged in though.

It looks like this but I do t remember it ever having a remote control...
