[Closed] Reasonably priced office coffee supplier

We have a good coffee setup in our office with several good Expobar machines and good grinders. The beans however are pretty terrible, in the opinion of myself and several other coffee snobs in the office.

Office management are happy for us to investigate new supplier options, however I know that they are working to a budget and currently their bean supplier is just the cheapest they can find, so I expect they might baulk at the price of some of the speciality roasters.

We don't need any machine leasing, beans only, we get through about 160kg a mouth.

Can anyone recommend a reasonable quality wholesale supplier that doesn't cost the earth? To be clear, I don't just want a list of good roasters, I have loads I like myself already, just ones that do wholesale pricing that will keep our bean counters happy, so to speak.

Not sure where you are, but I love 200° coffee from here in Nottingham - they deliver beans and ground

Has Bean do wholesale. Don't know their prices, they just have an email link to enquire. Their consumer prices offer 52x 250g bags on subscription for £250 though (not all in one month! you get one bag a week/fortnight/month). Maybe gives an idea. Non subscription, consumer prices per bag range from £6 to £15 depend on the coffee. Large range to pick from. Typically not dark roasted in my experience, but I like it that way.

Martin Carwardine.

The beans i’m Ordering at the moment are £14 a kg.  Their wholesale rates will be lower.

@tenacious_Doug drop me a PM or email. I'm a coffee buyer and may be able to sort something out for you from a specialty roaster.

That Forge website is a wonderful mix of peak hipster and atrocious writing:

Our aim is worthily to uphold the reputation so justly earned by men of Sheffield throughout the centuries.

Keep it simple, don't over complicate things, deliver the right knowledge at the right time.

Housing one of the most modern and efficient coffee roasting systems available, our magnificent Giesen Coffee Roaster oozes with traditional charm and character. It's mere presence in The Forge arouses our senses and passion for quality craftsmanship. Firing it up ignites our emotions.

Turn on roaster, roast beans for a bit, cool beans, grind, drink, maintain ironic moustache.
