Anyone else get bored of reading that when another STWr wants to pick an argument but obviously doesnt want to show their hand too early?

Please dont just add your opinion to this thread, i demand evidence else you are wrong.

It doesn't bother me, really. It's not a particularly good dialectical tactic, but then I don't visit STW for the quality of its arguments. Entertainment value is what it's all about.

I can prove this by telling you that for all the times I have noticed this feature of different threads, I have had no more response than to move on with my reading, somewhat dispassionately.

That bores you? Anything to back up your claim?

I'm not wasting my time linking to evidence. If you reckon you can prove me wrong, you go right ahead.

Then we argue over sources.

You can prove anything with facts, I don't like facts they tend to cloud my judgement.

Lots of folk assert stuff on here that when challenged they cannot back it up with any evidence let alone proof.

If you think its OK to assert something and then be unable to provide anything to back that up than OK.
