Currently working abroad and just bought an Asus transformer android tab thinking I'd download some of the digital editions of STW to read on the flight home. 😀
Downloaded the low res PDF versions of a few back issues, but I can't find a decent app for android to read them. I read that the best one for this purpose is ezPDF, but when I open the mag I only get the pictures and none of the article text! 😯
The adobe PDF reader is too slow even with the low res files, and it doesnt remember last page etc.
I tried converting to epub using calibre, but the result was rubbish so thats not an option!
So come on, what do you guys with android tabs do?
Oh yes, I don't want to buy an ipad 🙄 , and can't read the online version in the browser as I'll be on a plane!
So, after a little more investigation, it appears to be random issues that dont display properly in ezpdf... others display fine.
Any ideas?!?
Zinio? Works pretty well for me, although I don't think Singletrack is available.
RepliGo Reader is the best PDF reader in my opinion. IIRC its not free though.
