America could melt the fat people into soap for Fight Club style bombs.

Only if they then did what happened at the end of said film.

That'd fix our credit ratings.

Iran has nukes (probably) And is mental enough to use them so doubt the shit'll go down..
But then who've predicted "we" would invade Iraq and Afghanistan..

America won't do owt to iran. I'm a dinner jacket would just launch all he's got at Tel aviv. then Israel would just nuke them in retaliation.

Which might create something of a problem in the region

"One Love

Let's get together and Feel alright."

Use your faith or lack of, there's only two kinds of folk in the world; people who believe in the above.
And those who don't.

Maybe not for governments. Just for members of governments.

What about the people who agree with the first two lines, but are too emotionally reserved to fully embrace the latter sentiment?

For gods sake! Will somebody think of them!

It is profitable for individuals and corporations though, and governments don't routinely turn a profit anyway, it seems. (also they can print their own money)

Would irradiated oil make a better fuel source?

Massive stockpile of bombs coming close to their use by date?

Don't have to worry about any disposal costs, green regs, recycling etc.. Dump em anywhere but the enemy and you will have Greenpeace etc baying for you blood..

There's always shitloads of profit in war. There is no way that *£billions* can be spent on anything without a lot of people getting very rich......big bucks means big profits.

Of course things can go a bit pear-shaped if the war is lost.

But we get over the little problem of the risks associated with complete capitulation, and it's effects on profit, by ensuring that we only start wars with weak and poor third world countries which have no effective air forces and navies.

It's a win-win situation........the taxpayer foots the bill, and the people who really matter, make huge profits.

I meant it costs too much for the government. The govt has to fund it - all that money of course ends up in private hands through the business of buying war stuff, but it comes from the public purse. So it's too expensive for the government to do because they have no cash.

The United States entered World War 2 in recession and after years of economic stagnation. WW2 cost the US $5 trillion in today's money. Four years later the US emerged from WW2 wealthier than it had been when it went in. Although with almost half a million dead ..... hey that's show business.

War is constant.. but the major western superpowers are broken and defeated after the oil wars...

China and Iran are the major world superpowers now.. the news will filter down to the western populace gently over time so that it doesn't do anything too reactionary..

Americas present petulance may be the first stage of this..
