Right, I'm not looking for motivation for 2017 here - its simply that this came up in conversation last night and its been driving me crazy since.
Somewhere in the last few weeks (might have been the papers/Times?) I came across someone quoting that all you needed to do each day was 30 minutes of exercise to keep fit; 20 minutes of reading on business or culture to be able to hold strong conversations; and 10 minutes of...arghhhhhh - I can't remember.
I can think of plenty of things I'd like to do every day for 10 minutes, so lets forget listing those as it may quickly degenerate - does anyone know the actual quote of what those 10 minutes were for?
Must. Resist. Temptation....to post the bleedingly obvious..
So I'll throw in eating and/or drinking..
Intimacy?
Meditation?
pr0n research?;)
Wondering where your keys are?
Working ?
Staring out the window
10 minutes of good reference management so you don't forget the sources of quotes.
Mindfulness?

Yeh I read that, 10 minutes of memory training
10 mins of wondering what it is you're supposed to be spending 10 mins doing.
I heard the same thing recently although for the life of me I can't remember where. I do remember that it was that you should;
-Save 10% of your money.
-Read about politics or culture for 20 minutes a day.
-Spend 30 minutes exercising.
If I remember who said it, I'll post it up.
Wondering into a room, turning around and walking back out as you forgot what you were doing.
Read about politics or culture for 20 minutes a day.
I go to the EU referendum thread every day to get my 20 minutes of politics and culture.
all you needed to do each day..
And the other 15 or so hours lying in bed?
per hour in the toilet playing on your phone?

Brian Holm - This month's Cyclist magazine. In the very interesting feature, he quotes it as some sage advice he was given.
Procrastination
Ta da.....
Limbo Jimbo, Monskie - you have it right, a very big thankyou.
I've just and recovered my copy from the 'reading room' and have found the article again.
I can sleep again, plus quietly happy that I read something people were interested in in a bike mag. We had people over for dinner and they are all waiting on a text from me today to tell them what it was as the other two time-allocations seemed so sensible.
Thanks again. The power of the internet....
You're most welcome 🙂
10% is nowhere near adequate if it's supposed to include pension.
