OK this one has me stumped. Anyone know what's the answer is (& why)

Thanks

Bob James has 4 cats and 3 dogs and lives at number 8
Jim Arch has 5 cats and 2 dogs and lives at number 9
Mike Smith has 5 cats and 2 dogs and lives at number 6

How many cats and dogs does Geoff Leeward have and
what number does he live at?

It's based on number of letters in name, number of consanants = cats, number of vowels = dogs. not worked out relationship between number of letters and house number...

Do you think it's significant that all those first names are short versions?

Unique consanants = cats
Unique vowels = dogs.

Turn the letters into numbers and subtract the smaller starting letter from the bigger starting letter and you get the house number. {edit as in a = 1, j = 10, z = 26}

So I am going for 3, 6 & 5.

Thanks Lab Wormy

The house number thing would have had me stumped forever

I'll content myself with the belief I would have got the vowels vs consanants eventually 😉
